Delivery Info & Guarantee
Our regular delivery days are Monday to Saturday.
We do not deliver on Sundays.
Mt. Shasta Florist will design and deliver orders to the following local areas: Mount Shasta, Dunsmuir, Weed, Lake Shastina, Edgewood, McCloud, and Castella. Our delivery fees are as follows:
Mt. Shasta: $7.00
Outlying Mt. Shasta: $8.00
Lake Shastina: $15.00
Local delivery orders for same day delivery must be received by 12pm for outlying areas; by 2pm for Mount Shasta. On Saturdays we need to receive your order by 10am for out-of-town and 12pm for local Mount Shasta deliveries. Placing your order a day or more ahead of time is preferred.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries for specific times of the day if requested, but we cannot guarantee it due to the variability of our business.
Wire order deliveries
For all other orders, called “wire” orders, flowers will be supplied by a florist we will contact in the area selected. We ask the florist to fill the order how you would like the order to be designed, but of course cannot guarantee that it will similar to a Mt. Shasta Florist design.
Most wire orders need to be placed at least the day before delivery. Some shops will accept a same-day delivery before their specified cut-off time, which varies from shop to shop.
Floral Order Delivery Times
Most florist shops make deliveries during normal business hours (9am to 5pm). However some residential orders could be delivered from 9am to 6pm. During extremely busy holidays, like right before Christmas or at Valentine’s Day, some residential deliveries may even be made a bit later.
When the Recipient Is Not Home
For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person will call the recipient to arrange for delivery later in the day. We prefer not to leave the arrangement unattended unless we can be sure the recipient will be home shortly to receive it–hot weather and roving deer can play havoc with a fresh flower or plant delivery! If the recipient is at work all day we suggest sending the order to the workplace. You will be notified if a delivery cannot be completed for any reason.
For business deliveries, if the business is closed or will not accept the delivery we will attempt to find a delivery solution. If the delivery cannot be done the next business day you will be notified to discuss a solution to complete the delivery. You will also be notified if a delivery cannot be completed for any reason.
